Changelog

What changed, day by day.

  1. Chat apps for the directories, the CLI, Simulate and Hiring

    • Every chat tool says when to use it, and stopping a link is its own tool, so changing one no longer warns like a deletion.
    • Cards tell your assistant what you tapped, and an envelope's card lists each signer's fields.
    • An owner can turn the SAFE and cap table tools off for chats, in Settings.
    • binderwork, the command line: share, send, approvals and every action, installable from this site.
    • Simulate a priced round from the cap table and see what each SAFE converts into.
    • Hiring: post a job with its pay range, on a careers page with Google's job markup and a privacy notice.
    • Email the mail server doesn't take waits in a queue and is retried for four hours.
    • Sign-in links open a Continue page, so an inbox's link scanner can't use them up.
  2. Data rooms, your brand, and templates for envelopes

    • Data rooms with folders, a link per investor, questions from a page, a diligence checklist and a ZIP export.
    • Your logo and colour on viewer pages and the emails readers get, and links on your own domain.
    • Pages marked to their reader, Locked links, and tracing a leaked page from a screenshot.
    • Save an envelope as a template, start from one, or bulk send it.
    • Completed works as a vault: search by title or signer, and download everything as a ZIP.
    • Sign in with a six-digit emailed code, and create your company while connecting a chat app.
    • A tab bar on phones, and the main action in each page's header.
  3. Signing, SAFEs and closing a round

    • Drag fields onto pages, or let Binderwork find the document's own signature lines.
    • Consent to electronic records, signing order, codes by email, reminders, void and Request a change.
    • Sealed PDFs with an RFC 3161 timestamp, and /verify to check one.
    • Y Combinator's post-money SAFE, filled in from four fields and checked word for word, then sent through Sign.
    • The round's register, funding marks, the board consent, Form D's date and the closing checklist.
    • Word files become the PDF everyone sees.
  4. The foundation

    • Workspaces, members, roles and officers, with passkeys.
    • Every action runs one way, whether from the app, REST or a chat, with approvals and a hash-chained audit log.
    • The design system, in light and dark.
